About Our School

North Dade Center for Modern of Language (CML) knows the nation’s success depends on narrowing and eliminating student achievement gaps. CML embraces diversity through positive and compassionate perspectives that spreads beyond classroom walls and students. That is why student-centered learning, second language acquisition and cultural competencies are at the heart of the CML mission. The aim is to teach the ‘whole child’ so they may attain future success in today’s interconnected societies.

What we offer

NDCML offers a French International Education (IE) Program where students learn to speak, read, and write in French. The French IE Program exposes students to literature, mathematics, social studies, and science in French.

CML’s Spanish International Education (IE) program engages students to learn how to read and write in the Spanish language. The Spanish IE magnet curriculum exposes students to literature, mathematics, social studies, and science in Spanish.

The Spanish International Studies (IS) Program, an advanced and rigorous second language program, offers XXX hours of Spanish a daily. Students participating in the IS program follow the official curriculum of Spain and traditional Florida state standards and benchmarks.

The school’s full-time Gifted program prepares students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in an interconnected world. Intrinsic learning occurs via a plethora of interdisciplinary projects…

Our Vision

The vision of the North Dade Center for Modern Languages (CML) is to develop an academically enriched environment, preparing our students to become contributing citizens and global thinkers in a multicultural, multilingual society.

Our Mission

The school's mission is to prepare all students for the challenges ahead by providing an academically enriched environment. We encourage creativity and promote analytical and reflective thinking. It is hoped that our students will acquire multicultural experiences and mutual respect on the road to becoming multilingual and multi-literate citizens in an increasingly internationalized workforce.

Learning Philosophy

“Good academic institutions will ensure a learning environment where all stakeholders work together to achieve a common purpose through high quality innovative instructional curriculm that promotes choice, equity, diversity, and academic excellence for all students.”
