Principal’s Message
Welcome to North Dade Center for Modern Languages (CML)!
I am proud to be the newly appointed principal of this great educational institution. As your principal, it is my sincere pleasure to work with our dedicated staff and community to help provide an atmosphere of safety, respect, responsibility, and accountability for our students. I am excitedly looking forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure success.
My vision for CML is to provide students with an educational experience that inspires and motivates them to be lifelong learners and contributors to the world around them. We are committed to every aspect of your child’s well-being.
Students at CML will be emerged in a world- class education. It is a research-based program of study, inclusive of advanced literacy, math, and science standards with a rigorous focus on foreign language studies and second language acquisition. With intellectual curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills, your child will be prepared for a rapidly changing future. Students are involved in extra-curricular activities which provides them with opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and to explore their interests.
Parental involvement is a significant factor in student success, and you are encouraged to be involved in your child’s education. Constant communication is the key! We are looking forward to forging strong partnerships and your participation in our PTA!

Assistant Principal’s Message
Welcome to North Dade Center for Modern Languages (CML)
Here at CML we provide students the opportunity to develop a solid foundation in a secondary language and to become proficient in both reading and writing. CML has been a high performing school for over 20+ years. Our students out performance many of their peers all over the district. We promote an inclusive learning environment teaching our students the importance of being an impact in their community. The CML community has a wonderful family feel, where both teachers and staff are always willing to lend a helping hand.
My role as the assistant principal is to support the teachers, staff, students, and parents in navigating the academic curriculum requirements and aiding in a variety of areas to ensure that our students have the best opportunity to reach their academic goals.
The true success of CML is the collaboration between school staff and the parents. Parental Involvement is a key component in creating an environment that will foster academic and social success for our students.
As you embark on this journey with us, please take the time to learn about the many programs we offer here at CML.

The school's mission is to prepare all students for the challenges ahead by providing an academically enriched environment. We encourage creativity and promote analytical and reflective thinking. It is hoped that our students will acquire multicultural experiences and mutual respect on the road to becoming multilingual and multi-literate citizens in an increasingly internationalized workforce.
